Surf the waves of Pottuvil Point and Whiskey Point
Whether you are a beginner or a professional surfer, you can surf the waves of Pottuvil Point and Whiskey Point. These surf spots are located only 300 meters from Babar Point Bungalow. The best surf season is from April to November. You can rent a surf board directly in our hotel and we can arrange surf lessons. Contact us for more informations.

In Sri Lanka the wildlife is amazing to admire. On your way to Arugam Bay, you will probably see wild animals such as elephants, crocodiles, monkeys and birds, especially at sunset. If you visit the Kudumbigala Monastery, you'll see for sure a lot of different animals. We can arrange tuk-tuk transportation to visit the park.

Elephant Rock point is a famous surf spots for beginners and intermediate surfers. There you can witness amazing sunset at the top of the rock and explore the wild beaches. If you go there early in the morning, you might see wild elephants. It's located 4 km of Arugam Bay.

There you can only find fresh food : fish from the day, exotic fruits, vegetables and for those who are more adventurous, you can find a wide range of Sri Lankas' special chilli pepper.
